He was born in 1945 in Miyazaki prefecture (south-eastern Japan). His first publication, with the title "Saeki Toshio gashû", took place in 1970. He influenced many artists in various fields and his work continues to allure new ones. Some of his great drawings have been published on Playboy, Manga Sunday, Hanashi No Tokushû, Heibon Punch, Man Signal, erotica, Young Comic, SM Select, KEN, Manga Q, Black Humor, Grotesque, Tokyo 25ji and Bessatsu Asahi Geinô.
